For the quintessentially English seaside lunch with a delicious twist, please do try the restaurant’s signature dish of posh fish and chips; we did with a bottle of Bolly on the terrace – it was absolutely fabulous darlings. For us, the Cooden Beach Hotel has everything: stunning location, fabulous accommodation, seriously good food, fantastic leisure facilities and importantly a very friendly team of staff headed by Jenny who ensure the perfect beach side holiday.

Just a short stroll from the sea front and the famous De La Warr Pavilion is where you will find this handsome whitewashed 1930s house
with its beautiful bay windows and secluded mature gardens. Inside, the house is immaculate with comfortably furnished bedrooms that
are well equipped with television, video, digital radio, and the en-suite room has a high quality shower: no scalding dribbles here. The
rooms have lots of original architectural features and pleasant outlooks. Peter is a friendly and hospitable host who I must say does
cook a crackingly good breakfast which is taken in the conservatory overlooking the pretty garden. This really is a great little stay
with a super, comfortable and relaxed home from home atmosphere in the super seaside town of Bexhill on Sea
